Dubai: India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the Blind Cricket World Cup match at the Ajman Oval in UAE on Friday.
India won the toss for the second time and elected to field first. India restricted Pakistan at 282/8 in 40 overs. For Pakistan Md. Jamil scored 90 runs from 91 balls before he was retired hurt.
Captain Nisar Ali and Md. Jamil had a partnership of 137 runs for the third wicket before skipper Nisar was bowled by Ajay Reddy.
India reached their target with 5 overs remaining. Deepak Malik again top scored for India with79 runs from 71 balls. On the other hand, Venkateshwara Rao scored 55 runs from 64 balls.
For India Ajay, Basappa, Suni, Rambir and Deepak took a wicket each.
