Varun Dhawan gets his wax statue at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong


Mumbai: Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who is riding high on the success of his last release Judwaa 2, On Tuesday, unveiled a wax statue of himself at the Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong.

Varun has become the youngest and second B-Town actor after megastar Amitabh Bachchan to get a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum Hong Kong.

The ‘SOTY’ actor unveiled his statue in person. He was accompanied by his parents David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan

“All the magic all the love all the way from Hong Kong,” tweeted Varun along with some pictures.

Varun said that this was one dream that he has had since childhood and he is happy that it is coming true now.

“It is a massive honour. It’s a kind of love and appreciation that I am getting my figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Also, I am the youngest actor in the attraction. That is a massive honour. I am definitely excited as I got my parents and sister to travel with me to see this,”he said.

“This was a big dream for me as a child. I always dreamt about this, and today it is coming true,” added Varun.

On work front, Varun will appear in ‘Sui Dhaga’, opposite Anushka Sharma. The film will hit the big screen in September. Apart from ‘Sui Dhaka’, he has Dharma Productions ‘Shiddat’ and Shoojit Sircar’s October.
